This is your wake up call, Wake the FUCK UP!

I cannot get enough of these guys right now. Wake up call, from Maine are fast, heavy and positive. With fast guitars, and even faster drums and aggressive vocals the music is addicting and fun to listen to.
The band is not releasing their anticipated record until later notice, due to "too many people in it for the wrong reasons". This is understandable, as the hardcore music scene is slowing drifting away from what it used to be.
Support your local hardcore!

Hopefully I will have an interview with Let down within the next week.
They just finished a US tour with Ceremony and Blacklisted.
Should be a good read.

This time, no one makes it home.

I have nothing but good things to say about Ghostlimb. They blow my mind. The combine the aggressive thrashy essence, similar to Bracewar or Spazz, with melodic hardcore. The two together make for an entertaining listen.

Bearing & Distance's lyrics are what defines the album. They range from many topics, from religion to politics, personal boundaries and individuality.  Any mood that you are in, there is a song on this record for you.

Favorite lyrics:

The Catholic kid says he's keeping it the same and the mistakes of his parents he'll carry to his grave and the Christian kids say it's how it's always been, where the battle lines are clearly drawn between piety and sin he said lovers of prostitutes are happy, fit and satisfied. As for me, my arms are broken from grasping the clouds.

This EP is amazing, go check them out and support them.

I was up until 5:40 AM.

Having a terrible sleep, and then waking up by remembering you have a class at 9:00 AM is not the way i want to start my Thursday.
When i woke up, I needed something to get me through the day.
I remembered i had a copy of ON's new demo.
This band is remarkable, a combination of many big name bands in hardcore.
In my opinion, a combination of Sinking Ships, Shipwrecked and a little bit of Have Heart to boot.I got into the tracks, really quickly and soon enough, i wasn't as fatigued as I usually am after the circumstances that occurred.
They are recording a new 7" that I have no doubt will live up to Vital Times' energy.

Charles Bronson

This is incredibly pissed off fast hardcore. One of my favorite records to listen to when i'm feeling like shit, pissed off, or just in the mood for something fast. They also did a split with Spazz, an influential fast hardcore band.  If you're into songs that are get to the point, no bullshit, then either pick up the Spazz vs. Charles Bronson split, or their full length.
You will not be disappointed.
